Senders and domains

The sender is the address shown in an email’s From field. It belongs to the workspace, is shared by Marketing and Transactional, and must be authorized for the environment sending the email.

Open Settings → Domains to see registered senders and their statuses.

Inspect a domain

Select an address’s domain to see associated senders. The detail view lets you copy the domain name and inspect the statuses of the addresses shown.

In the private beta with real sending, an owner or administrator can add a domain and open its details. Select Check verification / get DNS, add the displayed records at your DNS provider, then check again. Keep the Sendiro TXT record to prove ownership.

Activation also requires the Sendiro operator to configure provider event reception. If DNS is published but the domain remains pending, contact the operator. This view shows up to 50 domains and 50 simulation senders.

Prepare a sender for local tests

In configured simulation environments, owners and administrators can use Add sender to register a test address.

  1. Enter the full address, such as team@example.com.
  2. Confirm the action.
  3. Check that it appears in the list before using it in an email design or send.

That address is an example only. A simulation sender supports local flow testing; it does not prove ownership of an address or enable real email.

Distinguish addresses and domains

In the Amazon SES beta, a verified domain authorizes addresses on that exact domain within its workspace. For example, verifying example.com permits team@example.com, but not team@sales.example.com. Subdomains require separate verification.

Use only the records generated for your domain. Do not copy example values. Revoke domain blocks new sends from it; it does not delete DNS or links in previously sent emails.

If an email design will not publish

Check that the sender address belongs to a verified domain or matches an authorized simulation address in the same workspace and environment. Brand settings, the sender’s display name and a website do not grant that authorization.

See Email designs for publication requirements and Email activity to distinguish an accepted email from a delivered one.
