Members and permissions
A personal account can belong to several workspaces with different permissions. Your name, photo, language and time zone belong to your personal profile and do not depend on contact or billing access.
Open Settings → Members when you have permission to view the team. Search by name or email ignores case and accents. Combine it with Active, Suspended and Invitations filters.
Choose a profile and review access
Profiles fill an initial permission selection. Memberships retain that selection: changing a product preset does not automatically expand existing access.
| Profile | Initial selection |
|---|---|
| Content | View, edit and publish designs; view Brand, supporting field definitions and senders; select, upload and organize Media. No contacts, real tests, campaigns, flows, team or finances. Publishing a design does not send email. |
| Marketing | Manage contacts, imports, subscriptions, fields, segments, designs, broadcasts and automations; send tests and view results and usage. Organize Media. Does not delete contacts or Media, import established consent, administer the team or access finances. |
| Analysis | View aggregate reports and operational usage. No contact data, recipients, individual activity, message content, technical diagnostics or finances. |
| Administration | Manage operations, configuration, integrations and access within delegable authority. No ownership, finances, contact or Media deletion, privileged consent import by default. |
| Developer | Configure domains, senders, integrations, API keys and webhooks; view diagnostics and usage. The dashboard excludes contacts, commercial operations, Brand, team and billing. Each integration and API key has independent permissions. |
| Custom | An explicit selection, for example finance-only access or a restricted technical integration. |
The editor shows 31 options that group internal permissions. View allows reading; Edit includes creating and changing items. Editing designs includes publishing versions. Editing contacts and segments includes imports, subscriptions, fields and actions that may start flows. Editing automations includes testing, publishing, activating, pausing and archiving. Testing with contact data also requires access to those contacts.
Open Customize permissions below the profile, then expand a group to review its permissions. The summary counts options with full or partial access; opening it does not change the selection. A group checkbox operates on complete options you can assign: empty means none, checked means all, and a dash means partial selection. Expanding or collapsing a group does not change permissions. There is no global “all permissions” option.
Selecting a permission adds its requirements. Removing a requirement may remove dependent permissions; the interface explains the change. Editing a selection makes it Custom. Review the checked permissions, including locked selections, before saving. Adjustments remain local until confirmation. Required auxiliary reads do not appear as extra checkboxes. Opening or saving the form never completes a partial selection.
Delegate within your authority
Inviting requires both member management and permission assignment. Changing status or removing a membership requires member management; changing permissions requires permission assignment. One capability does not grant the other.
You can change permissions only within your authority. Existing permissions you cannot modify remain locked and are preserved when selecting profiles or groups. You cannot expand your own access. The server checks current membership again: an open form does not retain permissions revoked afterward.
Editing contacts and segments may start previously authorized active automations; there is no separate checkbox for starting events from contacts. Content does not receive those capabilities. Activating a flow requires permission for the effects it enables, including sending and changes to contacts or segments. Quotas, consent, authorized senders and sending health still apply.
Retrying a failed operation uses that operation’s permissions, without a general technical recovery permission. Configuring integrations allows defining the permissions available to their keys; managing keys allows issuing them within their integration’s current scope. Creating a key provides indirect access to what it authorizes, even when membership cannot open the corresponding dashboard screens.
Invite someone
- Select Invite to open the invitation page and enter the email address.
- Choose a profile. Open Customize permissions if you need to review or adjust individual options.
- Select Create invitation.
- Copy the personal link from the result and share it with the invitee.
The invitation stores the complete selection. Acceptance does not recalculate the preset or allow ownership assignment. The invitee must use the same verified email. Invitations expire after seven days and reserve one seat.
The link appears only in the creation result. Copy it before reloading or creating another invitation. To replace a pending invitation, cancel it and create another; the old link stops working. An expired invitation may retain its reservation until expiry processing finishes; cancellation releases it sooner. An existing invitation does not confirm delivery of an operational email.
Change or suspend access
Open a person’s ⋮ menu and select Manage access, review the profile, permissions and status, then save. Changes take effect immediately. If someone else changed that access, reload and review the current version; an old view cannot silently overwrite it.
Suspension blocks access but keeps the seat. Remove member releases the seat and requires confirmation; it retains the personal account, workspace content and memberships elsewhere. Returning requires a new invitation. Access changes record the actor, target, previous/new values and time.
Manage ownership separately
A workspace can have multiple owners. Each owner has every permission, including finances, and their selection cannot be customized while they retain ownership. Only an owner can manage another owner’s access.
Use Add as owner or Remove ownership, with its separate confirmation. Removing ownership assigns Administration without financial permissions; review the resulting access. Sendiro prevents suspension, removal or ownership withdrawal of the last active owner, including concurrent changes.
Suspended members and pending invitations occupy seats. Check quantities and limits in Usage. Usage access does not grant access to prices, payments or contracts.
